A very Happy New Year to you. We have now begun our Year of Spiritual Renewal and Wellbeing, centred on these three key themes:

  • Lifting our eyes to God
  • Enhancing spiritual and personal wellbeing
  • Enabling spiritual growth to foster numerical growth

Throughout the year there is an exciting and varied programme of events, including retreats, quiet days and pilgrimages, alongside wider ideas for the whole church. Do consider how you and your church can benefit from these events and the resources available by visiting the dedicated website to find out more.

Retreats

There is a rich programme of retreats available, offering something for everyone. All of the residential retreats are full board, including all meals and refreshments from lunch on the day of arrival, until after lunch on the day of departure.

We particularly want to highlight these next three retreats:

School of Theology

A thought-provoking series of lectures, workshops, and discussions designed to inspire spiritual renewal and promote wellbeing within our diocese.

Each event, held either in the historic surroundings of St Albans Cathedral or accessible online, features distinguished speakers and practitioners who bring fresh insights to essential questions of theology, spirituality, and social justice.
