The author of this weekly piece upon the recent and future activites of St Andrew's Parish Church in Biggleswade, was unusually absent for the 9:30am Parish Eucharist on Sunday, 23rd August. Hence, the vicar's announcements and the sermon have been omitted. Therefore, the usually fairly chunky write up this week will be a little thin. The person in question was in fact 'hosting' a reunion in the parish of St Pauls Walden iin Hertfordshire where the bell ringers were in action at All Saints Church. No matter. The following report therefore is minus the sermon for that day but never mind.
Thanks have already been expressed to everyone involved in the Hoiday Club where clearly a good time was had by all which centred upon the theme of The Kingdom Builders. No doubt those attending the 11am Holiday Club Service learned a lot about the Kingdom Builders and those who relayed information about the Holliday Club's busy work and play did a grand job as well. A well-ordered picture of marquees and fenced-off zones has clearly told the town that St Andrew's Holiday Club has been in full swing. Now it is over and the job of dismantling the structures always takes place quickly.
