St Andrew’s church annual country Fayre raised over £6000 in Biggleswade for last Saturdays Country Fayre.
Beautiful sunshine saw many people from Biggleswade and surrounding villages making their way to the parish church for this years country Fayre.
The Fayre was celebrating 40 years in the creation and the many many charities that it has supported during that time well over £100,000 in all.
This years Fayre supported the willow foundation and the MS Trust a raised a massive £6000 between them!
There were many stalls including tombolas a raffle, assault course, 2nd hand toys a penalty shoot out, tea shop, bacon and barbecue. A fantastic arena programme saw many local organisations and local schools contribute to the day long entertainment!
In the church there was an exhibition of 40 years of the country Fayre with details of all of the charities that had been supported during that time and some of the notable events of the last 40 years.
St Andrew’s church would like to say thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed together everyone who helped run a stall, everyone who took part in the arena, everyone who donated in any way. It was a great day.
