This Christmas, St Andrew’s is raising money for two charities that really need support. Keech Hospice Care that provides support in our local area, and UNICEF which supports Children in areas where they face extreme difficulty. If you are able to give, please support through our giving page, use an envelope in church (marking it as CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN) or give at one of our events in Biggleswade this Christmas.
Our giving page can be accessed through the red GIVE button on the top right of our website.
Keech Hospice Care provides free, specialist care for adults in Luton and Bedfordshire and children from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes living with life-limiting illnesses. It costs £6 million a year to provide this care, and 70% of this is generated from charitable giving.
With the cost-of-living crisis, St Andrews is doing our part to help them meet that £4,200,000 they need to raise from giving.

UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, defend their rights and help them fulfil their potential. Currently there are major events that bring the work of UNICEF to light, such as Gaza, where UNICEF and it’s partners are on the ground. UNICEF also works to support children in unheard of (by the West) areas where the need support. The work of UNICEF is massive, and while they have corporate partnerships and trusts that support their work, they are heavily reliant on the giving of ordinary people to provide children across the world with support.
St Andrew’s understands these children are innocent victims and is supporting the work of UNICEF this Christmas.
