All are invited Saturday 9th March at 5pm to the Cathedral. A service to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ordination of women as priests. The preacher will be The Reverend Christina Rees, former chair of WATCH and a leading figure in the campaign for the ordination of women as Bishops. Please do come along to this special service, the first time such an anniversary has been marked in the Abbey, and bring congregants and friends. Preceding the service, at 3pm in the Chapter House, we are holding an event to encourage young women thinking about vocation.
