Annual Mission Giving
As a church we distribute direct to missions 10% of our income. This is distributed as follows:
A set amount to the Deanery mission project
2% of the balance is transferred to the emergency mission fund
The remaining 8% is distributed to specific charities chosen at the start of each financial year and also payments to Hands at work to support 15 children in Mafambisa.
This year's charities are St John's Moggerhanger and Carers in Bedfordshire.
Sue Ryder St John's Hospice
Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice is in Moggerhanger in Bedfordshire. They provide expert palliative and end-of-life care in the hospice and the community. They are there to help service users and their loved ones with everything from pain and symptom management to emotional and practical help.
Bedfordshire Carers
Carers in Bedfordshire is a registered charity. They are there to help unpaid carers of all ages, right across Bedfordshire, with information, support and advice. They give voice to their concerns.
Hands at Work
