THE FRIENDS OF ST. ANDREW’S (a registered charity 294338) is a society of those who through the payment of an annual or life subscription assist the Parochial Church Council (PCC), to care for the fabric of the Parish Church.

Previously the entity was known as the St Andrew’s Preservation Trust and was set up in 1985 in response to the need to raise £100,000 to meet the cost of carrying out urgent restoration work to the stone of the church tower, from which grew the ‘Friends’ which has now become a vital part of the life of St Andrew’s.
The Friends is a registered charity separate from the PCC, with a body of elected and ex-officio Trustees.
Since 1985 over £440,000 has been raised – through fundraising events, the subscriptions and donations of our members and most judicious investments.

How can you help
Constant calls upon our funds mean that they are rapidly declining. That is why, because the Friends is so vital to the life of St Andrew’s, the support of many more members is necessary.
Subscription rates are very reasonable – everyone is welcome, including – especially – children and young people:
Adults | £10 per annum |
Under 18 years | £2 |
Life Membership | £100 |
In Memoriam | £100 |
